Design an optimized model to improve natural ventilation thorough the roof orientation
Natural ventilation is among those effective methods that is useful in hot dry climates. One of its important uses is in the atrium spaces in the office buildings. Although, as a passive solution, it has a significant impact on the reduction of energy consumption, the control of inlet and outflow of air as well as the control of air current temperature has always been a challenge for architects...
متن کاملIncidence and risk factors of pneumothorax in premature low birth weight infants under mechanical ventilation
Objective: pulmonary air-leakage especially pneumothorax (ptx), is a severe complication in neonates. The aim of this study was to assess the predisposing factors and frequency of ptx among the low birth weight (LBW) premature infants, under mechanical ventilation. Methods: This cross sectional study was performed in 121 LBW intubated premature infants at neonatal intensive care unit of a child...
متن کاملEvaluation of Work Exposure in car Painters with Isocyanides Compounds
Introduction: Isocyanate Compounds NCO groups react easy with biological molecules & considered to be a powerful respiratory irritant and major cause of asthma, bronchitis chemical. Studies /investigations have shown that the risk of death from lung cancer is spreading among car painters. This study aimed to identify amount of worker with Physical contact on reduction of this contaminant in the...
متن کاملبررسی پتانسیل تهویه طبیعی بخشهای مختلف بیمارستانی دربیمارستانهای تابعه دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران در سال 1393
Background and aims: The current conventional effective elements on transporting or reducing of airborne aerosols and building indoor air quality are natural ventilation systems. Natural ventilation is supplying fresh air and cooling down by replacing ambient air which is one of the effective parameter on social hygiene and health aspect through controlling airborne pathogens and their relate...
متن کاملEffect of Radiation Heat Loss and Ventilation on Dust Explosions in Spherical Vessels
The flame propagation through a coal dust-air mixture in a spherical vessel was studied by means of a one-dimensional, Arrhenius-type kinetics and quasi-steady model. The model includes the evaporation of the volatile matter of dust particles into a known gaseous fuel (methane) and the single-stage reaction of the gas-phase combustion. Effect of venting devices as safety idea and the radiation ...
متن کاملThe role of natural ventilation on reducing indoor radon concentration
Due to the increasing of closed ventilation systems used in buildings, the risk of indoor radon is increased day by day. In this study, we selected two sample rooms to calculate the radon emission coefficient from different levels, radon concentration measured when the natural ventilation was completely closed and compared with the analytical results. The results clearly show the difference in ...
